How to Annoy a Designer #1

Pixelated Photographs

Pixel is an art form itself. I don't hate pixels. So, these pixels-inspired work below are awesome.

What I mean is pixelated photographs that gives you bad quality of image. Tada!
Imagine you are given bad quality images to be used for your design, whether it is static or motion. And you can't say no to your clients or superiors. It means you are about to torture yourself with these bad photographs. "touch up!!"

Even worse when they have no other better photographs to be used for the design they wanted.

" Eh you designer right? Got photoshop what,
do some magic on my photos yeah?"

Some people assume that we designers can save the world by using just Photoshop. If the photos weren't that bad, we are considered lucky. If it is a bad quality and nothing can be done, prepare to use it in your design. Oh no.

What can annoy the designer more? Well, when someone says..
"Oh yeah, please make this picture bigger yeah? Fullpage okay?
I want to capture people's attention with this product of mine."

Sure, capture people in a unattractive way. -____-

Some designers are so numb, so used to it; as long as they get paid, they are contented.
Some are very sensitive about this, cause they care. (I'm one of them!)

If only everyone knows how important it is to avoid using bad quality images for their product advertisements, whether it is on screen or printed out.

As a designer, I try my very best to inform or suggest the clients/others to get a better quality image. Or else, find another solution. But we cannot win always. Sometimes, they just want it like that. It annoys me but I cannot do anything about it.

So yes, I do have artworks that I need to save into two versions: Before Disaster and After Disaster. :D One to be put under my own portfolio. One is for the winning client.

"So please don't give me anymore bad, pixelated images. I can die touching up your images okay!"
