Single vs In A Relationship? Rubbish.

Is it true that, a person who is in a relationship CANNOT perform as well as single people in their work or activities?

I know most people would say depends. I do think that way too, honestly.

Look, I heard about what most people says nowadays.
"Your education comes first, then only you can have a bf"
"Having a BF will affect your grades!"

I cannot fully agree. Sorry.

I believe not everyone is the same. Duhh! Some people can still do well though they are in a relationship. Some are falling deeply and start to forget about their priorities. I don't think I need to explain more on this. See around you. You can find many examples. Good and bad.

And what pisses me off is when some people starts to think that single people work better than attached ones. I say bullshit la. To hell with that, especially when its from a single person's point of view. Are you being jealous?

You cannot compare. No way. There are some single ones out there keeping failing in whatever they do. What makes you think single cases are better than the ones in relationship?

I know there are people who are too blind in love already, neglecting their work and all. But please dont generalise all of us here. We are all different!

I'm writing this because I'm going through this situation. Yes, there ARE people out there who think that I'm not capable of handling my work because I am in a relationship and o-oh, that means I have "higher possibilities to screw work up because you will never know when the bf is going to break my heart and next thing you know I will be falling apart, not doing my work."

Don't come and merepek with me la.

What the hell.... seriously. Just because you saw me fell badly in my previous break up, it doesn't mean I will be like that again! And secondly, When I broke up previously, at least I did my damn work right? I still attend classes right? I still contribute to any work that is necessary right? I didnt fucking failllll okay.

When you are single, it doesn't put you at a better situation where you think you are way more capable of handling work than me.

Easy. Just don't use my bloody status as a reason to be less capable than you or whoever. Put that in your brains. It's not in any textbook. Don't simply compare me to anyone. Coz you are not in my shoes.

You know what I was wondering, will it be the same if you were in my shoes, going through a bloody break up? Better than me? Worst than me? Just like me?
