You don't look like Chinese, I don't believe you.

This is yet another experience of the couple (me & him) going through another wonderful roadblock at night.

The road in front of my house is a one way route. So, who comes in from left side is now considered using illegal way. Last time it was two-ways yeah.

Joe always drop me off at the end, left side of this road because I know some neighbours are just way too busybody and will probably put me into trouble if they tell my parents " omg! I saw your daughter on a bike with a guy!!"

Its not time to reveal Joe's identity yet. heheh! So each night that he sends me home, that's where I get down and he will watch me walk back home safely.

Last night was a lil special. There was a roadblock right at where we always stops. I told Joe to stop by at the junction and don't turn in. We are not scared of you policemen. We are just so sick of taking out ICs and talk to you. So many roadblocks nowadays.

Joe said he didnt realise they were there, so he accidentally went into the illegal way. AGRHHHH! $£$&£%*^%&!! Joe busukkk!

So, the leader of the policemen asked us to stop and come forward for check-up. We were trying to be smart. No, more like Joe was trying to be a hero. hahaha!
" Takper, you jalan dulu, takde apa2 punye".

I walked past one of them.
Did you really think they will let me go off just like that?

Police : Adik, tunggu sekejap.
Me : Ah? *look at Joe* I duduk sini la..
Police : Takper, tunggu jap. Tgk IC?
Me : I cant believe it..*bitchy abit*

I think the policeman felt challenged with that sentence
and he also speaks English.

Police : I...cant believe it also. I have to.. to check.
Me : Mmmm.I know. *while taking out IC*
Police : Its my job..
Me : I know its your job, I didnt even say its wrong. -__-"
Police : okay..

As he was checking our ICs, the leader(Chinese) came to join in.

Leader : Macam takut polis saja (Chinese slang)

Excuse me? Hell no. Why should we be afraid of you?
I immediately speak Cantonese.

Translated to English
Me : We are not scared, I happen to live here, I'm just getting down here like usual.
Leader: You don't look like Chinese, I don't believe you.
So he checks my IC while the policeman was still holding it.
Leader : *shocked* Ohh.. But u dont look like one!
Me : I'm mixed mah. Thai Chinese.
Leader : oooo. And who is this guy?
Me : My boyfriend.
Leader : ??? *looked confused*
Me : He is Malay.

Joe was all the time left out probably because we spoke in Cantonese. Hahaha. So kesian. :) And the leader looked at Joe.

Leader : oooo! Pandai ah you. Boleh pikat pelempwan Cina. Lagi dia mixed, cantik ah.
Joe & I laughed together like hahahaha so funny oh.
Leader : How you all meet one?
Me : Same college.
Leader : oo. What course you study?
Me : Animation lorrrr.
Leader : Then he leh? *looks at Joe and ask him* You?
Joe : *laughlaugh* Staff, IT.
Leader : Oooo. Assistant to Lecturer ah?
Joe : No, IT Support.
Leader : Sini you blh kena saman you tau ka?
Me : He just drops me off here coz scared parents see.
Leader : Makes no sense drop u here. Next time drop at the other side okay?
Joe & I : ok.....
Leader : Ah saya kasi chance sama you, tak saman you sebab dia cantik.

HAHAHAHAH! Its my identity that saves us from getting summoned. Joe of course never liked that. Its always the police will go "oh I let you go coz of your girlfriend". He even teased me on the phone that night.

Oh well. I dont care much about what the policemen said. As long as Joe & I are safe from anything. :) And before he sends me home, he finally brought me to that Yaseen Nasi Kandar Pulau Pinang shop. I got my favourite Nasi Kandar for dinner. ;)

Sayang, is this because I helped you earlier to do some minor PC maintenances in 3dlab1? XD Or is this because like what you said " sebab you mengidamkan nasi kandar!" ? Sounds like I'm a pregnant woman pulak!

P/s : I will update the blog whenever there's drama okay? Stay tuned.

The story of Sup Doraisamy & 3 Police Roadblocks

" Ok jom balik" he said.
I happily followed his footstep from the back, going down the stairs out of TOA.
"Nanti minum sup Dorai tk?" I asked him, with a little hope of him saying YES.

He said no of course. bwekk! As he started the engine, I asked if he left his wallet or not. Hehe. My routine to check, because my boyfriend is forgetful sometimes. B***k!
Last night he really forgot. Hmm. So I stood next to the bike while he rushed upstairs to get it.

As we were going towards Pyramid carpark for a U-turn, I reached out my left hand to the front of the helmet and asked " Dah pakai tali helmet?"... He didn't need to answer coz my left hand will tell me the answer. :D

And I pestered him the same question. Hoping again.
" Confirm ke, tk nk sup Dorai?"
"confirm. Naper?"
"Oh....*sound cool* tkperla... cuma dah lama tk minum sup tuh."
----Silence for 3 seconds----
Then he said " Jomla, Sup Dorai"
I was very happy to know that I get to taste the delicious Sup Doraisamy! :P If I could, I would jump for joy while on the bike. But I can't, knowing that I'm not born to be a Minah Rempit.

If you are wondering, I'm talking about the delicious Sup at Jalan Doraisamy, KL. I love the chicken soup. :D

As we were approaching NPE first toll, we would be wondering if there's any stupid roadblock. It looked clear, we thought. As we get into the bike lane, the policemen were there to greet us. grr!
" Roadblock la"
" ishh! kacau jer. nk minum sup Dorai pun dia nk kacau!"

It was the same Sarjan who checked us long time ago. Nothing much happened. Only checked Joe's IC and roadtax. Then we left.

We had a good time sitting nearby the soup stall. Chatting and laughing. Good to have a BF who can be my very close & good friend. :)

Left the place at 2.20am and as we approach the YMCA field area, another group of policemen were there to greet us. Yes, 2nd roadblock of the night. This time they asked for my IC too. I hate to take out my ugly IC. Urgh. Typical questions were throwned to Joe regarding where we were heading to and all that shit.

I'm very happy that the policeman didn't question my race. Oklah. Got 1% hope of making 1Malaysia come true.

After returning the IC, he asked..
"Dah kahwin ke?"
We both were like shocked, speechless.

The most advanced question I've heard so far was from the Sarjan at NPE long time ago, asking if Joe is my tunang. He was serious about the question. -____-"

Anyway,
The policeman asked again if we both dah kahwin.
J : Takla. *laugh*
me: Awkward + blush, hiding behind Joe's shoulder.
Police: Ah? Naper tk kahwin lagi?
J : *laugh* tak. kita masih muda lagi.

Then we left. Turned into the school area road. I think the policeman must be bored. That's why he asked stupid questions. Lame joke.

I wanted to show him my kindergarten (Tadika Sudharma at Jln Berhala) since I showed him my primary school previously. We went into the area, not knowing anything nor thinking twice at all.

The area was so quiet and scary. Suddenly, two Malay men on a bike approached us asking us to stop. Okay, That was freaky. My heartbeat was fast. I don't trust them. They claimed they are policemen. Like we would believe them without their uniform and card. Joe was asking what's the reason of being stopped and asked them to prove that they are really policemen. I was panicking, telling him to go forward, leaving them behind as soon as possible.

They came approaching us again! Joe was about ready to kick their bike down. I was holding on tightly on my handbag and Joe's body.

Finally one of them showed the card as proof. We stopped with relieved feelings. Thank God they were really policemen. They were afraid if we get attacked by snatch thieves on bike. Then I suddenly remembered about this Jalan Berhala is a hotspot for snatch theft. Silly me for not thinking twice. The policemen advised us not to wander around this area at this time.
" Kalau nk ronda pun, ronda la siang2, bukan mlm2 buta cam nie"
hahahaha. Me & Joe could only laugh. And when we left the policemen, I hugged him while on the bike and apologised for suggesting the idea to pass by my kindergarten. But he didn't put the blame on me, more like sharing the blame. He said he was wrong too for being so interested to see the kindergarten. :)

As he dropped me off, he smiled and said "3 roadblock".. What to do. Policemen love us.

P/s: As I'm about to publish this, he called me on the phone. He reminds me about the rojak at CIMB bank. Damn!!! If only food can be sms-ed

Same Same but Different [ It's not about Ean]

PART ONE

Everytime Joe sends me home, we both tend to feel nervous whenever we take NPE. On a motorcycle, note that. Why? Stupid roadblocks. So annoying. Had enough of those policemen. And wth, they can still like flirt with me while I'm with him. Unforgivable. Unforgettable.

Opps lari from topic.

Here's the story.

We passed NPE. Fuhh. No roadblock. Thank GOD!! As we turned into Brickfields, we got false hope. Roadblock nearby my house. perfect. Imagine if my dad happens to be around there and saw me on the bike and stopped aside by police. eeeee. Guarantee die on the spot.

Time to check IC. Joe showed his IC n license. Then...

Police : Nie, orang belakang ada IC tk?
Me : Ada...Jap eh. * grab IC from handbag.

Passed the IC to him.. He took some time, staring at my "beautiful" pic and details. I kinda expecting him to be confused at that moment. He looked puzzled.

Police: Cina...?
Joe : *Smile* Cina...
Me : Ahh, CINA.
Police: * pass IC back* ohh.. macam Melayu...
Me : * took IC* Tahu...

Seriously. Must say it la. -_____-" Oh well. I'm immune to it already. But I still must share these kind of moment with you guys. Coz there's difference in every incident.

So we continued on the motorcycle. Conversation was something like this. Cant remember exact words but I knew what we talked about.
Me : Eeee! "Macam Melayu"...Itu pun nk ckp ke???!
Joe : * laughs* Dia pelik la tgk u cina duk motor. Biasanye Malays.
Me : Hah? Apa plak?
Joe : Yerla. Dia ingat you nie Cina Busuk. Opps. Hahahahah!
Me : Eeeeeee!!!! * hits Joe*

We had this joke, where we called those mat rempits as budak busuk. heheh. So for this situation, he calls me Cina Busuk. Cis. Boyfriend busuk!

PART TWO

This morning, when I was brushing teeth, a couple with a child came to pray at the temple/my house. The mother and child happened to come in to kitchen area to get to the toilet. She saw me and smiled. I ungracefully smiled with the colgate buih buih in my mouth. Any mother in laws who sees me in this morning's situation, would definitely won't recommend me to their sons. Unpleasant smile :P

Then after I washed my mouth and she came out from toilet with her child. She smiled again.

She : You looked...very mixed. What are you? Indian?
Me : -______-" Chinese & Thai
She : Oh nicely mixed. Can see you are mixed.
Me : -_____________-" haha. ok.
She : Very pretty! :)
Me : Oh. eheheh. Thanks.

Wah. I'm a mixed product y'all! Don't play play! numb enough with this nonsense.
