This morning, while flipping through The Star, I stumbled upon an article about the thousands of protesters that intended to march all the way to Istana Negara to protest against the teaching of Science and Maths in English. First thing that came to my mind was - Oh no. Not another demonstration!
What's with these people nowadays? Why everything must be done publicly through demonstrations? They, protesters must be feeling damn proud of themselves, walked with pride in the public. Bullshit. Enough with these demonstrations and illegal gatherings! I find that they are clowns, particularly politicians who got involved. What ever happened to those peaceful days? Why sometimes, simple things have to brought out to the street? I understand there are some power struggle going on in our country but it is crazy enough to have people protesting against things like teaching Science and Maths in English. What the hell is wrong with them? And what's worst is that they want it back to BM. Fuck you all. Use your brains people. This is no zaman kuno. Stop being a fucking fanatic about mother tongue shit! You won't die if these subjects are in English BECAUSE you are still alive right now, can go protest like bunch of monkeys.
I know that we have Bumiputeras and others. Who get more or less rights, we all know and we can't question it though we know things should have been fair and square. This is not me being racist, but come to think about it.... It seems like those who gathered there yesterday are most probably MALAYS. Hey, dont hit me with stones first. let me finish. If those people are trying to fight for democracy shit, where are the others? WHere are the Chinese to fight for Chinese language? Where are the Indians to fight for Tamil language?
Personally, I think these people have gone too far. Too much. And owh, ONE MORE THING.
Why are these people so "kepoh ci" ? Looked at who turned up for the gathering! Do you see school chidrens? Do you see high school students?? If you are not in school anymore, got nothing to do with these subjects, then shut the fuck up. You are not those kids who have to sit and study and be experimented for the changes of teaching languages! Don't try to give excuse like "owh our mother tongue will die" coz its truly bullshit. As if you don't speak anymore?
And perhaps, if there are students who are against these, let me say this. Its better to start now then not to do it at all. You can't expect the whole world to understand you when you ask for "Penunu Bunsen" instead of Bunsen burner! For once, I salute the Education ministry for making the right choice, though its a bit too late and might affect those who learnt in BM for so long and have to switch in this drastic situation. I feel sorry for the students who have to endure the pain of listening awkwardly to the teachers who can't teach in English properly. But at least, they have started.
If you are just too weak and you want to choose that excuse to go against it, you must have lost your mind. Think twice. Not everything you do must be in BM. If you refuse to open up your mind, I am sorry to say, you are really going to be left behind.
By the way, FOOLS who loves to demonstrate, why don't you guys go protest against English subject? Yeah, ask the Government to allow English subject to be taught in BM. Idiots.
